Job Description

As an Accounting Manager at Promentrs, you'll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial processes. You'll play a key role in managing accounting activities and supporting the team in achieving departmental goals.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage the accounting team to ensure the accurate and timely completion of accounting tasks, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger activities.  
  • Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy in financial reports.  
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations in all financial transactions and reporting.  
  • Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and reports to ensure accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.  
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and streamline accounting procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.  
  • Develop and implement best practices within the accounting department to optimize workflows and reduce errors.  
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.  
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.  

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or relevant certification preferred.  
  • Proven experience in accounting roles, with a demonstrated progression in responsibilities and team management experience.  
  • Sound knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.  
  • Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills.  
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proactive, innovative, and responsible with a passion for delivering client-centered solutions and effective communication.
