Job Description

As the Controller at Promentrs, you'll oversee the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance. You'll play a critical role in ensuring accuracy, integrity, and efficiency in financial processes.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.  
  • Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring precision in financial reports.  
  • Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts, collaborating with senior leadership to align financial plans with business objectives.  
  • Monitor and analyze budget performance, providing insights to support decision-making.  
  • Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure the accuracy of financial data.  
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the accounting function.  
  • Liaise with external auditors, coordinating audits, ensuring compliance, and addressing audit queries.  
  • Implement corrective measures in response to audit findings.  
  • Conduct financial analysis, variance analysis, and profitability assessments, providing insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.  
  • Support special projects and initiatives by providing financial expertise and guidance.  

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or relevant certifications preferred.  
  • Extensive experience in accounting and financial management roles, preferably within a consulting or professional services environment.  
  • Profound knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.  
  • Experience with financial software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills.  
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proactive, innovative, and responsible with a passion for delivering client-centered solutions and effective communication.
