The Role
As a Finance Manager at Promentrs, you'll play a vital role in supporting financial operations and strategic decision-making within our consulting firm. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you'll contribute to financial analysis, reporting, and maintaining the financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in financial analysis, including preparing financial statements, reports, and forecasts to support decision-making processes.
- Conduct variance analysis and trend identification to provide insights into business performance.
- Support the development of financial plans, budgets, and forecasts, collaborating with the finance team to ensure accuracy and alignment with business goals.
- Assist in financial modeling and scenario planning to aid in strategic financial decisions.
- Manage day-to-day finance operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger activities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations in all financial transactions.
- Analyze financial data and trends, identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.
- Contribute to the implementation of best practices within the finance department to optimize workflows.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
- Previous experience in financial roles, demonstrating a strong understanding of finance principles and analysis.
- Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills.
- Solid understanding of financial statements, reporting, and budgeting processes.
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
